Bay Area Services Heating and Cooling was started in 1981 by Tom Beaulieu out of his garage, and it began as a major appliance service company. Within three years of business, Tom hired his first employee, and Bay Area Services was relocated out of his garage to a 2,000 square foot building.

My A/C died at the start of of summer last year, and due to both its and the furnace's age I opted to get the whole system replaced instead of repairing a 25 year old A/C. I spent a year saving up and researching companies as I wanted a hybrid heat pump system to help save some money in the heating season, and my old HVAC service company only worked with traditional furnaces and air conditioners. Bay Area Services was one of the very few companies in my area that sold and installed heat pumps, so I had them out to give me a quote. Brian came out and checked out my old system, and was able to recommend a surprisingly affordable Rheem Prestige series variable speed furnace and single zone heat pump system, Aprilaire filtration, and smart thermostat for far less than I expected! The financing company they work with managed to get me a payment plan of under $200/mo! Installation was very clean and professional. By the time they were finished it was as if I always had my current furnace and heat pump. No mess, no leftover parts or equipment from the old system. They went over everything including how to operate the new smart thermostat. We did end up having some problems following installation, but Bay Area Services were quick to come out and solve the issue, having the heat pump's inverter board replaced quickly. All in all I am extremely satisfied with the quality of service I received from everyone including the salespeople, the installation team, and the service techs, and fully intend to use them for my HVAC needs even well after the warranty expires. Absolutely would recommend them.
