About Us

Bay Area Services Heating and Cooling was started in 1981 by Tom Beaulieu out of his garage, and it began as a major appliance service company. Within three years of business, Tom hired his first employee, and Bay Area Services was relocated out of his garage to a 2,000 square foot building.

Needed a new furnace, AC, Thermostat and Aprilaire unit. Ivisited Bay Area Services. Not an easy process because I had no information on my current units other than they were old. Bay Area set me up with new Trane units. The salesman made it easy, and the installation was on time, professionally done and it operates flawlessly. It wasn't the cheapst, but quality units with a professionally done installation and a 12 year Warranty more then make it a worthwhile and cost effective. Would use and recommend Bay Area Services again!

Bay Area Services installed my heat pump and new furnace this past week. I cannot say enough great things about this company as they were timely and very courteous. The crew that showed up at my house did an amazing job explaining everything to me and throughout the whole installation process. Can’t say enough about Mike Fischer at Bay Area Services! Great guy and he spent a lot of time making sure I had all the information I needed before I chose a new furnace and A/C system. I feel I got a great system for a reasonable price and wasn't pressured into anything. The installers were awesome too! Had everything up and running and cleaned up the same day. Love the new system, and noticed better air quality within a day! Can’t beat the Trane warranty either. Highly recommend!

The technician that serviced our AC today was great. He was on time, very polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. After a brief description of the issue he knew immediately what to check for and had the issue resolved in less than 30 minutes. The price was extremely reasonable too.

We have been with Bay Area Services for over 10 years. We moved north and still had them come up and install a new furnace and AC with all bells and whistles three years ago. Past year has been terrible. Last year, I had it tuned up, and then all the problems began with the furnace. They did come up and take care of them twice. Now humidifier is not working, and they wanted $150. 00 just to drive hour away. I contacted a local company, and they found the humidifier was not installed correctly . They also had problems with our Trane furnace interacting with the Honeywell humidifier, not a good match. Cost me $730.00 to fix it. After years of loyalty to Bay Area Sevices they were not loyal to me!

Had our furnace and air conditioner replaced with a Trane. Very quiet fan compared to the Bryant furnace that sounded like a jet engine taking off every time heat or cooling was required. The Trane furnace has a variable speed fan (35% - 100%) which is great for circulating air throughout the house for even cooling and heating. Love the new thermostat and app to control temperature from anywhere.
